It's obvious that women and men think differently, particularly about sex.

It's obvious that women and men think differently, particularly about sex. Take an extreme example. Take the porn on the internet. There are site for almost every imaginable fetish and then some, but there is one common denominator. Women are subject to men.

What is it in the female mind that enjoys "multiple penetration", or animal penetration, or mechanical pentration, repeated penetration. The men simply get there rocks off. When that is done they probably fall asleep, but the women seem to have an insatiable appetite for sex in one form or another.

Females are not ladies after all.

Society plays a sweeping role in human sexuality.

My experiential position is that a plausible understanding of sexuality by way of scholastic research is not possible.
 

The Western modality of sexual scholarship is necessarilly mechanistic, concrete and plastic. Most Americans seem sexually repressed compared with simpler more "organic" societies. In a country where nudity is confused with sex, it is doubtful that there is a clear sense of what sexuality is. Society plays a sweeping role in human sexuality. Even political discourse on the subject alone can destroy the organic impulse. How, then, could we know the locus of human sexuality when it is explicable in terms of social proscription.

Having lived on all the continents of the world, it seems clear to me that only the free can exemplfy pure non mediated sexuallity. America has never known it: It is replete with a web of moralistic issues. Any repressive orientation in the sphere of sexuality would naturally yield anxiety around the issue. People can try to express the impulse; but with caution, fear ,etc. Some may rebel; but rebellion is not a centered expression. Most may be puritanized and remain so for ever, passing on their puristic, puritanical impulse to the generations ahead for ever.
