Marriage Problems

Every body has marriage problems! Of couse some problems in marriage are bigger than others, but nevertheless they happen. It is what you do with your marriage problems which will ultimately determine their effect on your marriage.

Divorce and marriage problems seem inseparable. But are they? The problems may not be "in the marriage", but rather in the individuals themselves, which then generate marriage problems. Unresolved problems within people can bring about marriage problems, even though the marriage may have a healthy external environment.

It is important to distinguish between issues and problems within the psychological dimensions of the individuals and the sociological factors upon which the marriage is based.

Some couples have very few marriage problems despite lving in deep poverty or bad health, while others who have 'the world at their feet', have severe marriage problems.

Many marriages can fail because of external factors - economic hardship, family crisis and accidents, relocation, interfering relatives, work commitments.

Other marriages will have marriage problems because of personality differences, couple incompatability, emotional and pyschological problems within one or both of the couple. Marriage problems are multidimensional - but can be put under two main headings: Sociological and psychological. Knowing that difference could make all the difference!	It is important to distinguish between issues and problems within the psychological dimensions of the individuals and the sociological factors upon which the marriage is based.
